Strategic Plan

Overview:

The purpose of this project is to conduct a strategic assessment of new and/or enhanced opportunities for the implementation of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) applications in the South Western Region, with a focus on improving the safety and efficiency of the regional transportation network.

The South Western Region ITS Strategic plan was recognized as the Outstanding Project of the Year by ITS-Connecticut at their September 29, 2010 annual meeting.
